Biography

The Eternal Sorrow band emerged in 1994, with the proposal develop a heavy and aggressive Doom Metal.

In 1995 it launched the Demo Tape "The Sadness 'Elevation', with an Intro and two songs (Eternal Sorrow and Lonely Sufferance). This demo paved the way for the Eternal Sorrow, considered as high quality by the magazine Rock Brigade and the underground fanzines. In Portugal "The Sadness" Elevation "won the best foreign demo tape award of 1995, elected by the Stage Dyving program, Azores. In 1996 the band participates in the compilation CD "The Winds of the New Millenium # 2" by Demise Records, with music Dreams of Reality.

Between 1996 and 1997 the Eternal Sorrow closes a contract for two CDs with the Demise Records. In 1998 it launched the promo-demo "The Twilight of Life," which had a great response from the media. Next is released the CD "The Way of Regret", which had an excellent reception in the market. From 1998 to 2000, the band focuses on the dissemination of "The Way of Regret" through shows. In late 2000 start up new songs for a new CD. In August 2001 the Eternal Sorrow enters the studio to record the album "Legacy", with approximately 53 minutes long and impeccable musical weight. The work is finalized in July 2002, "Legacy" is released in May 2003. Today the band is finishing the new CD, to be released in the first half of 2015.
